Our Community

A diverse group of people connected by the same dream.

De Woonwolk consists of old friends, new friends and future neighbours. A diverse community of thinkers and dreamers, artists and creatives, young and old. Different backgrounds, the same dream. By combining our unique ideas, we form a shared vision of our residential community.

We work as a team where everyone has a say and contributes to the realization of our residential community. There is no hierarchy and decisions are made together. Because we are all owners, there is not only more involvement and sense of responsibility, but also freedom and autonomy. In the Woonwolk there will be approximately 51 apartments, with more than 51 residents. This means many voices, many ideas and many talents.

Co-creation

To ensure the process runs smoothly, we have an organizational structure consisting of various meetings and committees in which everyone participates.

Once a month we meet on Saturday during the AGM. Here we update each other on the most important matters, important decisions are made and afterwards we have a nice lunch. In addition, we work in committees on various parts of the process, which are described below.

At the moment we are mainly focusing on realizing the construction and the associated finances. Once the building is finished, we want to focus more on our lives in Amsterdam Noord and contribute to the sense of community in the neighborhood. We want to do this by, for example, participating in neighborhood activities. We can also share our spaces and facilities with more people than just Woonwolk.
